We are proud to announce Isaac Nussbaumer as the recipient of the 2024 Allan Hanselman Award. The award was established to honor Allan’s legacy of service and youth mentorship and recognizes an outstanding youth who is dedicated to their community, actively involved in 4-H or FFA, passionate about the Oregon dairy community and exhibited dairy animals at the Oregon State Fair.
Isaac Nussbaumer, of Helvetia, is a recent high school graduate and will attend Oregon State University this fall to pursue a degree in Animal Science, with the goal of becoming a large animal veterinarian. Isaac has shown dairy cattle for nine years and is the President of his 4-H club, Contented Munchers. Isaac milked his first cow at the age of 7, has worked at Helvetia Creamery for several years and is active with the St. Edwards youth group.
